Nhwelmen Construction handled the disassembling, relocation, re-alignment, and fusing of tailings discharge lines, all while keeping the tailing discharge active. Of course, we also took care of the removal of decommissioned lines and kept meticulous fuse data, tensile testing, and flange torque records.

Equipped in full-scale mining operations, we are currently contract mining everything from drilling, blasting, and ore processing operations, in addition to the construction of site laydowns, water management facilities, haul roads, channels, ditches, ponds, and riprap at Elk Gold Mine.

We consistently meet our client's needs with riprap and aggregate production, road building and maintenance, pit development, and the drilling and blasting of the Ntequem Quarry.

Our team handled everything from the construction of the Earth Fill Dam to create the reservoir, the construction of the Lockblock Creek Diversion structure, and the installation of riprap in the creek channel.

While setting mine records for most sand placed in not only a single shift, but in a week, month, and entire year, Nhwelmen Construction also controlled all piping for supply of tailings and drainage of water. By providing 3D modelling, we were able to work with our client to plan for both current and future sand cell placement.

Nhwelmen Construction managed the placement of 42,000m2 of geotextile, along with an import of 65,000m3 of tailings sand and 500,000m3 of blasted rock with a fleet of 2 loading tools and 8 haul trucks.
