NLAKA'PAMUX NATION TRIBAL COUNCIL
Nhwelmen Construction is proudly owned and controlled by the Nlaka'pamux Nation Tribal Council (NNTC). NNTC is a governing entity of the Nlaka'pamux Nation and exists to protect and advance Nlaka'pamux title and rights. The protection and advancement of rights related to land and natural resources is fundamental to the work of NNTC, and is guided by the wisdom of the Nation's ancestors and elders, by the Nlaka'pamux Resolution on Natural Resources, and by the fundamental law:

- Take care of the land and the land will take care of you."
The well-being and sustainability of the Nlaka'pamux Nation and full exercise of jurisdiction requires economic independence. Instead of following the provincially developed models for revenue sharing, NNTC has created ownership, partnership and procurement opportunities, and employment. In order to protect Nlaka'pamux resources and to create financial security, NNTC has established various sustainable economic ventures including hydro, solar, forestry, telecommunications, and construction.
